Neck Pain and Headache Care in Wheaton and Naperville

Neck pain and headaches often travel together. Long hours at a screen, an old whiplash injury or poor sleep posture can each play a part, and the first job is working out which.

What brings people in

  • A stiff neck that limits turning your head
  • Headaches that start at the base of the skull
  • Tension across the shoulders by mid-afternoon
  • Migraines you would like to manage with less medication

When it is urgent. Call 911 for a sudden, severe headache unlike any you have had, or a headache with weakness, confusion, trouble speaking, vision loss, fever and a stiff neck, or after a head injury.

How we approach it

    Find the pattern

  2. 2

    Gentle adjustments

Neck and upper-back adjustments chosen for your comfort, including low-force methods if you prefer them.

  3. 3

    Posture and habits

Workstation and phone-posture changes, and exercises for the deep neck muscles.

Common questions

Can chiropractic care help with migraines?

Some people find that care for the neck and upper back helps them manage headaches. We will tell you honestly after the exam whether we think it is worth trying, and when a medical referral makes more sense.

Is neck adjustment safe?

We screen every patient before care and explain the options. If an adjustment is not right for you, we use other methods or refer you on.
